How ’bout a Sunday plan, whereby you don’t just binge watch movies or dine out with folks, as is the plan conventionally? How ’bout newer ways to unwind? Are you new to the city and are looking for new friendships? How ’bout adding new faces in your list of friends? What if we tell you that you can get a new source of entertainment for your Sundays? Answers to all the above questions can be found with Team “The Art Social.”
Three budding CAs (Ankita Agrawal, Surabhi Jain, and Jiya Singhania) brainstormed newer ways of socializing and entertainment that can be found in the city and formed “The Art Social.” This group aims at quenching the constant thirst of Raipur folks for new things to do by bringing together people of diverse age-groups to enjoy a Sunday evening filled with fun and frolic, food and drinks, music, and an explosion of vibrant colours.
An “Art Jamming Session” to cherish “The season of Fall” was organized by “The Art Social” on 26th February, 2017, Sunday, at EDL, Ambuja Mall, Raipur. The said event witnessed an upbeat and entertaining musical evening wherein people reveled in splashing vivid colors of creativity on the canvas and were elated to take home the masterpieces painted and signed by them.
An abstract painting session was also conducted under the step-by-step guidance of an instructor, who won hearts by connecting with all more as a friend than as a teacher. However, the event was flexible and anyone, who wished to add his own creativity was welcomed, whole-heartedly, to do so.
Welcome drinks, snacks, and desserts were served simultaneously as people painted. The group had envisaged an evening, where people “eat + drink + paint + socialize + enjoy” and fortunately, the same was delivered. The painting session was followed by a live musical performance, which sprinkled more magic to the evening.
The Art Social is motivated to organize many more creative, artistic, enjoyable, and memorable sessions in the beautiful city of Raipur and to connect with more and more people.
